Job summary

Metrorod Deeside & North Wales is seeking a Plumbing Engineer for a full-time permanent role in the Bangor area. The position focuses on plumbing work with additional responsibilities for drainage reactive tasks and on-call cover. Salary ranges £35,000–£38,000 plus on-call and overtime, with benefits.

The role offers opportunities for training and progression into specialist leak detection services within a growing franchise brand network.

Qualifications

• Proven plumbing experience.
• Full UK driving license.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Positive and proactive approach to work and customer service.
• Willingness and interest in learning drainage services.
• Able to participate in an on-call rota system.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing works with a focus on reactive drainage support.
• Assist with reactive drainage call-outs, blockages and related tasks.
• On-call rota participation with overtime paid at 1.5x standard rate.
• Opportunity to train and progress into specialist leak detection services.
