Job summary

Metro Rod Cardiff is seeking a plumbing-focused engineer who is flexible, eager to learn, and interested in developing additional specialist skills within drainage and leak detection. The successful candidate will primarily carry out plumbing works but will also support reactive drainage call-outs and related tasks in a varied day-to-day role.

This role forms part of an on-call rota, with overtime paid at 1.5x the standard rate, and opportunities for further training and progression into

Qualifications

• Proven plumbing experience required.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Strong customer service skills and problem solving ability.
• Willingness to learn drainage services and participate in on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing works primarily and support reactive drainage call-outs.
• Handle blockage clearances and related works as part of a varied role.
• Respond to on-call rota with overtime paid at 1.5x.
