Metro Rod Cardiff is seeking a plumbing-focused engineer who is flexible, eager to learn, and interested in developing specialist skills within drainage and leak detection.

The role mainly involves plumbing works, with support for reactive drainage call-outs, blockages and related tasks. An on-call rota with overtime at 1.5x is part of the package, and there are opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven plumbing experience and skills are essential.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Willingness to learn specialist drainage services.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is preferred; time-served experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing works as part of reactive and planned tasks.
• Support reactive drainage call-outs and blockage clearances.
• Participate in an on-call rota with overtime paid at 1.5x.
• Contribute to training and development opportunities.
