Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting an Operations Manager for reactive maintenance & voids in Hemel Hempstead. You will oversee a £10-12m portfolio, lead a team of contract managers, supervisors and operatives, and drive performance across social housing contracts.

The role requires a proven track record in securing and delivering reactive maintenance projects with housing/public sector clients, IT literacy, and strong H&S knowledge. Competitive salary up to £75,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in delivering reactive maintenance contracts.
• IT literate with Microsoft packages.
• Good understanding of H&S legislation.
• Experience managing contracts for public sector / housing association clients.
• Ability to interpret contract requirements to maximise productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program planning and scheduling of works.
• Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements.
• Manage health and safety across contracts.
• Direct a workforce of Contract Managers, Supervisors, Multi Trade Operatives and Admin/Planning Team.
• Liaise with Local Authority and Housing Association clients.
