Job summary

Enva Group in Grantham is seeking a Reactive Maintenance Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and improve machinery used in fridge recycling operations. You will perform reactive and preventive maintenance across conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and control systems, ensuring uptime and safe operation in a fast-paced production setting.

The role requires a mechanical bias with a Level 3 qualification and at least 1 year of hands-on experience, plus flexibility to cover shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year mechanical experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyors.
• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in mechanical discipline.
• Able to work in fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to cover different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on fridge recycling machinery.
• Overhaul and improve existing equipment; replace bearings; inspect compressors.
• Electrical tasks: VSD/PLC fault-finding and safety circuits.
• Support safety, environmental, and compliance requirements (F-Gas, DSEAR/ATEX, PUWER, LOLER).
• Maintain logs and documentation; operate as part of a team.
