Job summary

Enva in Grantham is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will perform reactive and preventive maintenance on fridge recycling plant, focusing on Jerry fridge degassing and foam treatment systems, ensuring uptime and compliance.

The role requires a mechanical bias, at least 1 year of hands-on experience with conveyors, hydraulics and general plant machinery, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical bias with Level 3 qualification.
• Minimum 1 year mechanical experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and general plant machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Flexible, team-oriented attitude with ability to adapt to shifts.
• Experience in recycling or similar industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates at optimal levels.
• Overhaul and improve existing machinery to enhance reliability.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance with some electrical work.
• Replace bearings, inspect compressors, and maintain hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Maintain conveyors, pipework, instrumentation and gas detection systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults including vacuum, chiller and control issues.
• Lead continuous improvement and ensure safety and compliance.
