Job summary

Miller's Vanguard is seeking an experienced Reactive Engineer in the Coffee Division to service and maintain commercial coffee machines and beverage equipment at client sites across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with PSSR and WSE requirements.

The role is 42.5 hours per week, with occasional weekend work and regional travel; you will travel in a company van, receive a uniform, a tablet and phone, and access a pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and maintaining commercial coffee machines.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and water-system faults.
• Familiarity with Safety regulations (PSSR) and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair faults on coffee machines, grinders, boilers, and water systems.
• Resolve breakdowns quickly to minimise customer downtime.
• Carry out scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer guidance and SLAs.
• Perform boiler servicing, flow checks, and system optimisation.
• Ensure all safety checks and regulatory documentation are completed.
