Job summary

Amey Ltd is seeking a permanent Reactive Facilities Team Leader for the MoJ account at HMP Long Lartin. The role is on-site with a base salary of £35,143–£41,341, 39 hours per week across a 7-day pattern including weekends on rota with a 15% weekend allowance.

You will lead a team of maintenance operatives and engineers, prioritise workload, and ensure contractual KPIs and safety standards are met. The role involves coordinating with HMPPS stakeholders and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Supervise maintenance teams within FM/building services.
• Experience coordinating reactive maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team delivering reactive maintenance.
• Prioritise requests to meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Allocate work, monitor progress, ensure quality.
• Respond to emergencies with minimal disruption.
• Maintain health and safety records and promote safety culture.
• Liaise with HMPPS stakeholders and site management.
• Check and approve timesheets.
• Support facilities management and continuous improvement.
