Qualifications

• Professional experience shipping production React applications with testable, well-documented code.
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools with judgement to validate outputs.
• A structured, systematic approach to diagnosing and fixing frontend issues.
• Strong grasp of modern web security and self-documenting code practices.
• Comfort across the full SDLC - Agile, CI/CD, version control - in a live production environment.

Responsibilities

• Build production React and TypeScript components for Maia and Maia Teams.
• Use GenAI tools daily to handle repetitive work, focusing time on architecture and hard logic.
• Review, refactor and harden AI-suggested code against security and performance standards.
• Break epics into shippable increments and maintain a steady flow of value through CI/CD.
• Shape front-end architecture with the squad, including component patterns, state management and durable calls.
• Build interfaces for Matillion's Maia AI Data Automation platform.
• Own high-visibility features and help define production-ready engineering standards.
