Job summary

Ideagen is seeking an AI Front End Developer to shape Mazlan, the intelligent workspace used across our products. You will craft the core UI for interacting with AI agents and guided workflows, in a hybrid setup based near Nottingham.

You’ll work with React and TypeScript to deliver real-time, streaming interfaces, turning AI results into clear recommendations while ensuring performance and reliability. Collaboration with product and AI teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Production-grade web applications used by real customers.
• Experience with React and TypeScript, focusing on architecture and performance.
• Experience with real-time or streaming interfaces and keeping UIs responsive.
• Comfort integrating with complex backends using REST, WebSockets, or SSE.
• Ability to turn product intent into interaction patterns without detailed specs.
• Experience collaborating with product and AI engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI-powered interfaces and design systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building the core Mazlan workspace UI, a persistent and session-aware environment where users interact with AI agents and guided workflows
• Creating real-time interaction patterns such as streaming responses, live agent status, multi-step reasoning visibility, and clear agent handovers
• Developing rich and structured output components that turn AI results into clear and actionable recommendations for regulated environments
• Integrating closely with the orchestration platform by consuming streaming events, session context, confidence signals, and agent feedback
• Managing complex frontend state so users keep their context even during long-running or multi-stage tasks
• Building feedback and correction mechanisms that let users confirm, challenge, or redirect AI responses in a structured way
• Owning frontend performance and reliability by designing effective loading states, optimistic updates, and graceful error handling
