Job summary

Your Jared in the United Kingdom is seeking a Front-End React Developer to join a brand-new team building web experiences for customers. You’ll take ownership of projects, shape the UI and drive modern front-end architecture in a fast-moving digital insurer environment.

Hybrid role with occasional East Sussex office presence; remote options available. Strong React/JS skills and UI/UX focus are essential to deliver scalable web applications that support growth objectives and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams on front-end projects.
• Proficient in JavaScript with React JS at scale.
• Strong UI/UX focus and delivery of polished interfaces.
• Experience with HTML/CSS/JS stack and API integration.
• Familiarity with TDD or BDD approaches is a plus.

Front-end React Developer - Hybrid, occasional East Sussex office presence

As part of our ongoing digital transformation program we are currently looking for a Front-End React Developer to join our growing team. Greenfield applications for the UKs fastest growing digital insurer. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects and be instrumental in the company’s growth and ambition to become the biggest digital insurer in the UK.

As a Front-End Developer you will be part of a brand new team creating websites and web applications that enhance the digital experience for our customers, helping our brand increase customer loyalty as well as generate new business.

As this is a brand new team, you will be able to influence the technical direction the team take and really stamp your mark on our business.

Skills And Experience

• Technical team leadership experience


• JavaScript specifically React JS experience is essential


• UI/UX development is key to this role


• Extensive experience in developing web pages using HTML/HTML5, XML, DHTML CSS/CSS3, SASS, LESS, JavaScript, React JS, Redux, Flex jQuery, JSON, Bootstrap


• Source Management software such as GitHub


• Object oriented analysis and design, API architecture experience


• Knowledge of a Test-driven approach including exposure to either TDD or BDD would be an advantage
