Job summary

The Recruitment Group, on behalf of Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group, is seeking an experienced D2 Reach Truck Driver to join a busy warehouse. You will move, store and replenish stock safely, supporting picking and packing as needed.

Ideal candidates are licensed, with prior reach truck experience, able to work in a fast-paced setting, focused on accuracy and safety, and reliable and punctual for ongoing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a D2 reach truck safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload and move stock around the warehouse.
• Place and retrieve pallets from racking at various heights.
• Complete put-away, replenishment and stock movements.
• Support picking and packing when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and report faults.
• Follow health and safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Meet daily targets and deadlines.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable D2 Reach Truck Driver to join our busy, fast-paced warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who can work efficiently under pressure, maintain high standards of accuracy, and contribute to the smooth running of daily warehouse activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring stock is moved, stored, and replenished safely and efficiently to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a D2 reach truck safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment.
• Loading, unloading, and moving stock throughout the warehouse.
• Placing and retrieving pallets from racking at various heights.
• Completing put-away, replenishment, and stock movement tasks.
• Supporting picking and packing operations where required.
• Ensuring all goods are handled accurately and with care.
• Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any faults or damage.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures and warehouse policies.
• Working towards daily targets and meeting strict operational deadlines.

Requirements

• A valid and in-date D2 reach truck licence.
• Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven operation.
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.Flexibility to support changing operational requirements.
