Job summary

OA is recruiting an experienced Reach Truck Driver for a busy site in Flitwick. The role involves loading/unloading, operating reach trucks and PPT forklifts, and assisting with stock transfers.

You will pick/pack orders, use hand scanners, and perform some office-related tasks. A valid Reach Truck licence and reliable, accurate work are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Reach Truck licence and have warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.
• WMS experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.
• Operate reach truck, PPT, and counterbalance forklifts as needed.
• Occasional admin/office duties.
• Pick and pack orders with scanners for dispatch.
• Manage stock and transfers for loading.
• Coordinate with other departments and teams.
• Move between production, bulk, and e-commerce areas.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards.

Role:Reach Truck Driver

Location: Flitwick

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00AM - 17:30PM, Fridays 14:45PM

Salary: Up to £31,500 per annum, depending on experience.

Must Drive due to location

OA are currently working with a well established, family owned client based in Flitwick, currently looking to recruit for an experienced Reach Truck Driver, to join the team.

Duties of a Reach Truck Driver:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.
• Ability to operate PPT/ Forklift (reach truck and counterbalance)
• Occasional admin/office based responsibilities.
• Picking & packing orders for despatch ensuring a high level of accuracy using hand held scanners.
• Manage stock and prepare transfers for loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
• Operate within tightknit team of operatives and liaise with other departments.
• Ability to move between departments production/bulk/Ecommerce.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards

What we would like from you:

• Previous experience within a Warehouse environment
• MUST have a Reach Truck Licence
• Counterbalance, PPT, VNA is preferred also
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to do heaving lifting and loadingFlexible with working hours and overtime
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• WMS experience essential
• Organised, pro-active & positive attitude.
