Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting a Cranswick Foods Reach Truck Driver to join a Hull site on a temporary ongoing basis. The role involves operating reach trucks, loading and unloading, and assisting with stock control in a cold environment.

You must hold a valid reach truck license, have a positive attitude and good communication skills, be punctual and self-motivated, and comply with site safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck to load and unload goods.

• Assist with stock takes and ensure accuracy of product on pallets.
• Perform general warehousing and site-specific duties as required by Supervisor.

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a Cranswick Foods Reach Truck Driver to work in Hull with one of our esteemed clients, on a temporary ongoing basis.

Pay Rate/Salary: £14.14 DAY RATE AND NIGHT RATE £15.64

Hours of Work:

The predicted length of term: temporary on-going

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

• Ensure that each vehicle is tipped or loaded as requested. Report any anomalies immediately to Supervisor
• Taking and recording temperatures, reporting any anomalies immediately.
• Ensure that pallets are located in the correct areas as per site procedures.
• Assist in stock takes as requested. * Carry out checks as necessary to ensure accuracy and integrity of product on pallets
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Successful candidates must have the following skills and experience:

• Signed off to all site safe systems of work and operating procedures
• Hold reach truck licence

Our client is one of the UK's largest food producer's specialising in meat Products. There have been established for over 30 years. There are currently looking to expand their workforce at one of their sites in Hull. The environment is freezing with certain areas of the cold store being kept at -6 degree. There are looking for Reach Truck Driver to assist in general warehousing duties.
