Job summary

Recruitment Pro are currently recruiting an experienced Reach Truck Driver for a busy warehouse in the Rotherham/Wath area. Starting pay is £14.00 per hour with overtime opportunities and an attendance/attitude bonus.

The role requires a Reach Truck licence and at least 1 year of warehouse experience, working 40 hours per week on rotating days and afters shifts. Full-time and permanent with potential for progression.

Responsibilities

Reach Truck Driver – Rotherham / Wath Area

Starting Pay: £14.00 per hour

Bonus: Up to £1,040 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime

Shifts: Rotating Days & Afters – 6:00am–2:30pm / 2:00pm–10:30pm

Location: Rotherham / Wath area

Recruitment Pro are currently recruiting an experienced Reach Truck Driver on behalf of a well-established client operating a busy warehouse and distribution facility in the Rotherham/Wath area.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a starting rate of £14.00 per hour, enhanced overtime rates, an attendance and attitude bonus and ongoing opportunities for training and development.

Our client is looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and keen to become a long-term member of the team.

Pay & Progression

You’ll start on a rate of: £14.00 per hour

There are opportunities for further development and pay progression for colleagues who demonstrate excellent attendance, a positive attitude and the ability to learn and develop within the operation.

Working Hours

You’ll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across a rotating Days/Afters shift pattern:

• Days: 6:00am–2:30pm
• Afters: 2:00pm–10:30pm

Overtime opportunities are also available.

Overtime rates

• Monday to Friday after 40 hours – 1.25x
• Weekends – 1.5x

The Role

As a Reach Truck Driver, you’ll support the safe and efficient movement, picking and processing of stock throughout a busy warehouse operation.

• Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently
• Picking and moving stock throughout the warehouse
• Replenishing stock locations
• Moving products between operational and dispatch areas
• Carrying out manual handling duties where required
• Completing relevant system transactions accurately
• Working to daily and hourly productivity targets/KPIs
• Reporting any issues or obstacles affecting productivity to your Supervisor or Shift Manager
• Following safe operating procedures
• Reporting Health & Safety concerns and near misses
• Supporting colleagues across the wider warehouse operation
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Essential Requirements

• Reach Truck licence – essential
• At least 1 year's experience within a warehouse or labour-intensive environment
• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck
• Good Health & Safety awareness
• Experience working to targets or KPIsGood communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping
• A positive and proactive attitude
• A strong work ethic and determination to get the job done
