Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is hiring experienced Reach Fork Lift Truck Drivers in Wakefield to replenish, ferry and manage bulk storage in our logistics depot.

The role focuses on accurate order assembly, safe loading, and strict stock rotation within a fast-paced environment. The position offers a 40-hour week, a £13.57 per standard hour rate (performance related) plus £0.63 FLT allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Numerate and literate.
• Warehousing and distribution experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.
• FLT (Reach) licence with £0.63ph premium.

Responsibilities

• Accurate assembly of customers' orders.
• Picking and loading goods onto cages and pallets safely.
• Adhering to stock rotation procedures.
• Carrying out other warehouse duties as needed.
• Marking and storing assembled orders for dispatch.
• Loading customer orders onto company vehicles.
• Ensuring run-sheets, documentation and keys are handled correctly.
• Prepare vehicles prior to loading.
