Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is seeking experienced Reach Fork Lift Truck Drivers for night shifts at our Wakefield depot. The role focuses on accurate replenishment, ferrying and bulk storage, with a base rate of £13.57 per standard hour plus a £0.63 FLT allowance, performance related.

You'll perform order assembly, loading, stock rotation and safe warehouse duties in a busy, cold environment. A Reach FLT licence is desirable for the extra premium and warehousing experience is essential.

Qualifications

Numerate and literate.
Warehousing and distribution experience.
Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

Accurate assembly of customers' orders.
Picking and loading goods onto cages and pallets.
Adhering to stock rotational procedures.
Performing accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions.
Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch.
The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles.
Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading.
The preparation of vehicles prior to loading.
