Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver for the Bedford depot. The role involves replenishment, bulk storage control, and loading customer orders in a temperature-controlled environment at 4°C.

The position offers a PM shift (2pm-10pm), 40 hours per week on a 5-out-of-7 rota including weekends, and a range of benefits and training opportunities. You will be part of a busy, dynamic team within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Numerate and literate.
• Warehousing and distribution experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.
• Ability to work in a freezer environment with a £1.24ph premium.
• Counterbalance and/or VNA licence.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of picking fixtures with accuracy and speed.
• Labeling and relabeling of bulk storage pallets.
• Adhering to stock rotation procedures.
• Transfer of bulk stock to correct storage areas and recording movements.
• Assemble and load customer orders safely and efficiently.
• Handle loading of goods onto cages/pallets and ensure documentation is correct.
