We are recruiting support workers on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our motivated team. The Reablement Service is part of London Borough of Merton Adult Social Care. We offer 25 hours per week, with shifts in the morning (07:30am - 1:00pm) or evening (3:30pm - 9:00pm). If you're seeking additional hours to complement your current role, education, or childcare commitments, apply today!

This role involves providing physical assistance to residents, including moving and handling, with training provided. You will need to work at least 2 weekends per month.

The Reablement Service offers quality care to individuals discharged from hospital or needing community support. Your responsibilities include personal care, medication administration, meal prep, and helping with domestic tasks like light housework. You will also encourage engagement in social activities, plan, and support clients in achieving their goals.

Building warm, trusting relationships with service users and their families will enable them to live independently at home.
