The Isle of Wight Council is seeking Community Support Workers to provide essential services across the island. This role involves supporting individuals to maximize their independence in a domiciliary setting. Both experienced candidates and newcomers are encouraged to apply. Community Outreach and Reablement - Community Support Workers (Island wide)
You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred service that promotes independence. Candidates should have a good understanding of working in a domiciliary setting. This rewarding role is suitable for both experienced individuals and those new to caring.
As part of an enthusiastic team, you will benefit from shift-based pay, guaranteed hours, and overtime. You will work on a shift basis across the island with the Outreach team based in Newport, starting from either Newport or Ryde.
This post requires an essential car user with access to a pool car (full manual license preferred). A full UK driving license and personal vehicle are essential. Business use car insurance is required as your vehicle will be used for work when pool cars are unavailable.
