Job summary

Home Support Matters is seeking Reablement Support Workers to help East Norfolk and Waveney residents regain independence after hospital discharge or a change in circumstances.

You’ll assess needs, support daily living skills at home, and join a compassionate team with flexible shifts (7am–2pm or 2pm–10pm); full training and a paid induction are provided, with competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is required.
• Compassionate and good communicator.
• Flexibility to work weekends.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Are you passionate about supporting people to regain their independence and live life on their own terms? Our Reablement Service is growing, and we’re looking for dedicated, compassionate Community Support Workers to join our team.

Join Home Support Matters as a Reablement Support Worker across East Norfolk and Waveney, Suffolk. As a Community Support Worker in our Reablement team, you’ll work with individuals who need short‑term support following discharge from hospital, illness, injury, or a change in circumstances. Your role is to help people rebuild confidence and learn or re‑learn daily living skills so they can remain safely and independently in their own homes.

Shift patterns of 7am -2pm or 2pm -10pm available.

Hourly rate: Weekdays £13.10, Weekends £14.06

You will need previous care experience and a desire to help people improve their quality of life.
