Job summary

Bradford Corporation is seeking a Reablement Support Worker for The Bradford Reablement Service in the Keighley area. The role is 31.5 hours per week with a two-week rotating schedule, including weekends.

You will re-abet individuals in community settings, assist with daily living tasks, and maintain accurate digital records. Applicants should be prepared to work towards the Care Certificate and QCF Level 2 in health and social care, have a UK driving licence, and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate and QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
• Full UK (manual) driving licence required.

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Reablement Support Worker to work within The Bradford Reablement Service (formerly known as BEST) for Bradford Metropolitan District Council in the Keighleyarea of the Bradford district.

31.5 hours (average) per week.

The main responsibilities of this role:

Service provision operates on a a 2-week rolling rota as follows:

Week one: Monday, Saturday, Sunday

The work schedule is:

07:30 -12.30 break 18:00-22:00 on each of these days; we are unable to condense hours into fewer working days.

Driving licence

You will need a full UK (manual) driving licence for these roles. (Transport is provided).

Qualification

You must have or be willing to work towards the Care Certificate and QCF level 2 diploma in health and social care.

An Enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
