Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Reablement Organiser based in the North West Locality Office. The role involves organising daily schedules for frontline care delivery staff, managing referrals and discharges, and ensuring high standards of service in line with policies.

The post requires working with people, carers and health partners to support independence. Hours are 36 per week, with a salary range of £30,188 to £34,452.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage the daily schedule of activities for front-line care delivery colleagues.
• Facilitate intake of new referrals to the service and discharges at end of service delivery with the reablement coordinator.
• Ensure all service delivery is high quality in line with regulatory frameworks and Council policies.
• Act as a key responsible person to ensure the service is responsive, delivering safe and effective care with individuals, carers/families, hospitals, therapists and community supports.
