Our Schedulers play a crucial role in coordinating staffing resources, managing daily schedules and responding to changing service demands. Their work helps ensure residents receive the right support at the right time, making a real difference to people's lives every day.

This is a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. If you enjoy organising people, solving problems and adapting to changing priorities, you'll thrive as part of our team.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Scheduler to join our Reablement Service on a fixed-term contract until 15 November 2027.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staff rotas, allocating visits, responding to service changes and ensuring resources are utilised effectively. You'll liaise regularly with frontline colleagues, managers and partner services, providing an efficient and responsive scheduling function that supports the smooth delivery of services across the community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities and making a real contribution to the delivery of frontline services.

This role requires someone who can balance competing priorities, maintain accurate records and communicate confidently with a wide range of people. You'll be using a variety of systems to update schedules, monitor staffing availability and support the day-to-day operation of a busy service.

Working 33.5 hours per week (inc Bank hols), this fully office-based role at Ecton Brook, NN3.

is an integral part of our operational team. The position operates on a 4-week rolling rota, including alternate weekend working, with shifts worked between 7:00am and 5:30pm (staggered start times, from 7:00am to 9:00am).

A highly organised, resilient and proactive individual with the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands, who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Experience in administration, scheduling, coordination or customer service would be beneficial, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Adaptable and calm under pressure, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and identify practical solutions to operational challenges.

Previous experience of workforce scheduling, rota management or working within Adult Social Care, Health Services or Local Government would be advantageous.
