Shropshire Council is recruiting a Reablement Practitioner to deliver intensive short-term, person-centred care across the county. The role focuses on promoting independence by supporting adults 18+ with daily living activities and mobility within their own homes.

You will work to help individuals regain skills, using a strengths-based approach and excellent communication. A funded Level 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, including Maths and English, is available if qualifications are missing.

Qualificações

• GCSEs in English and Maths at level 4/C or above.
• Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care and the Care Certificate.
• Experience and knowledge of providing domiciliary/homecare with ability to undertake manual handling.

Responsabilidades

• Assist people to regain and retain skills to live as they wish.
• Enable the person to perform acts of daily living such as self-care, cooking, washing, dressing and mobility.
