Job summary

Stockport Council is recruiting a Home Support Worker in the REaCH team to provide person-centred care in people’s homes across Stockport. The role supports reablement, helps service users regain skills, and promotes wellbeing and independence.

No formal qualifications are required as full training is provided; a valid UK driving licence and access to a car are preferred. This is a permanent, part-time role with weekend enhancements, generous leave, pension and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Provide all types of personal care with dignity and respect.
• Safely administer medication as prescribed.
• Write clearly in-service users daily records.
• Follow policies and procedures to keep service users safe.
