Job summary

Essex Cares is recruiting a Care Assistant to support people in their own homes across the community. You will help clients relearn daily skills such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation, enabling them to regain independence.

Travel between visits is required and early or late shifts including alternate weekends are expected. No prior care experience is required; full UK rights to work, a valid driving licence, and a vehicle with insurance are essential, along with an Enhanced DBS

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship
• Full driving licence
• Own vehicle with business insurance
• Enhanced DBS check
• Willing to work early or late shifts and alternate weekends

Responsibilities

• Support clients to regain independence and continue living in their own home
• Help clients relearn skills including personal care, mobility and meal preparation
• Travel between customer visits across the local area
• Shadow a mentor on customer visits until confident in the role
