Clarence Recruitment Limited seeks an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher for a welcoming secondary school in Rugby. You will deliver RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering critical thinking and respectful discussion to support student achievement.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, DBS with Update Service, and a commitment to inclusion and school values. A dynamic, supportive team and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience of teaching Religious Education in a secondary school setting.
• Sound knowledge of world religions, ethics and philosophy.
• Excellent communication skills and effective classroom management.
• Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage students to explore a range of religious, ethical and philosophical topics.
• Promote discussion, debate and independent thinking.
• Develop lesson plans that inspire curiosity and understanding.
• Track student achievement and provide meaningful feedback.
• Support whole-school values and inclusion initiatives.
• Participate in departmental and extracurricular activities.
