Job summary

You will deliver RE across Key Stages 3 and 4, explore diverse ideas, foster respectful discussion, and contribute to department initiatives while supporting students’ growth and achievement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent.
• Experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school.
• Strong understanding of world religions, ethics and philosophy.
• Commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.
• Passion for encouraging respectful discussion, curiosity and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Guide students through religious, ethical and philosophical ideas.
• Create a safe and inclusive environment for discussion, debate and thinking.
• Design inspiring lessons that spark curiosity and empathy.
• Celebrate progress, monitor achievement and provide constructive feedback.
