Job summary

Romans Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Demolition Project Manager to oversee a short-term project in Birmingham. You will plan, coordinate, and safely deliver all demolition activities on site, including RC cut and carve works, to meet the programme.

The role requires strong leadership, RAMS preparation, and clear communication with the main contractor and client; duration is 2-3 months with 8:00am-6:00pm schedule and a day rate of £500-£600, subject to experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing demolition projects, including RC cut and carve schemes.
• RAMS preparation and approval.
• Strong leadership, organisation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee all demolition activities on site.
• Coordinate and supervise demolition and saw-cutting teams.
• Monitor progress against programme and provide updates to Operations Manager.
• Liaise with Main Contractor to coordinate site activities and delivery.
• Attend site meetings and represent the demolition contractor.
• Prepare and review RAMS and safety documentation.
• Ensure all works comply with legislation and site requirements.
• Manage day-to-day site operations and workforce performance.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to maintain targets.
• Promote health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
• Ensure accurate record keeping and reporting throughout the project.
