Job summary

Lonza is seeking a proactive Quality Control Technologist to join the Slough facility's Raw Materials team. You will ensure raw materials meet strict quality and regulatory standards while keeping laboratory operations running smoothly.

You will release materials using SAP/LIMS, review results, and coordinate daily activities. The role requires a practical background in Analytical Chemistry and a strong emphasis on GMP and safety.

Qualifications

• Educational or practical background in Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience managing quality records and documentation.
• Strong commitment to GMP regulatory standards and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform disposition and release of raw materials using SAP and LIMS, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate test results, prepare raw material specification packs, and consolidate GMP packs for microbiology.
• Coordinate daily activities and scheduling within Raw Materials to keep projects on track.
• Lead quality record completion and EHS actions, conduct root-cause investigations and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with operations by leading materials planning meetings and guiding documentation practices.
