Job summary

Meraki Talent partners with a leading global investment bank to strengthen its London Global Markets trading capabilities. We are seeking experienced VP and Director-level traders across G10 Rates, FX, EMs and Relative Value strategies to join a franchise with access to institutional client flow and broad fixed income and derivatives markets.

Candidates will trade and manage risk, demonstrate a strong P&L track record, and work closely with sales, structuring and research teams to identify

We are working with a leading global investment bank seeking to strengthen its Rates and Macro trading capabilities within its London Global Markets business.

We are interested in speaking with experienced VP and Director-level traders across G10 Rates, Foreign Exchange, Emerging Markets and Relative Value strategies.

The opportunities sit within an established international trading franchise, offering exposure to institutional client flow, global liquidity and a broad range of fixed income and derivatives markets.

Areas of Interest

• Government Bonds: European Government Bonds (EGBs), Gilts, US Treasuries, SSA and Sovereign Debt.
• Interest Rate Derivatives: G10 Swaps, OIS, Basis, Curve and Cross-Market Trading.
• Inflation: Inflation Swaps, Linkers, Breakevens and Inflation Relative Value.
• Repo & Financing: Government Bond Repo, Securities Financing and Collateral Trading.
• Foreign Exchange: G10 FX, FX Options, Forwards and Cross-Currency Products.
• Emerging Markets: EM Rates, FX, Local Currency Bonds, Sovereign Debt and CEEMEA.
• Relative Value: Rates RV, Cross-Market Spreads, Basis, Curve and Macro Relative Value.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals with:

• Experience trading and managing risk within a recognised investment bank or institutional trading environment.
• A strong understanding of pricing, liquidity, market structure and risk management.
• A demonstrable record of P&L generation and commercial contribution.
• Experience in market-making, client facilitation and managing trading positions.
• The ability to identify market opportunities and manage risk independently within established limits.
• Strong collaboration with sales, structuring, research and global trading teams.
