Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Facilities Operator / Rapid Response Team Member to join our team working at RMA Sandhurst, Camberley, GU15 4PQ with occasional requirement to work at Frimley Cadet Centre, Frimley, Surrey.

You will be part of the Rapid Response Team, assisting with all cleaning duties, helpdesk duties, welcoming visitors, and assisting with any task in or around the academy.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

What do we offer:
  • This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week. Working 5 days over 7 including some evenings and weekends. Normal shifts usually range between 08:00 – 15:30, however flexibility is required.
  • The hourly rate is £12.21.

A day in the life of a Facilities Operator / Rapid Response Team Member:
  • React to all helpdesk calls received.
  • Clean internal lights, replace bulbs, clean carpets, move light equipment and deliveries as requested.
  • High level cleaning after training.
  • Clearing ice, snow, leaves as requested.
  • Keep stores clean, tidy and check off / receive deliveries.
  • Keep vehicles clean, tidy and stocked up.
  • Curtain removal for cleaning and rehanging.
  • Occasionally aid laundry department.
  • Delivery of meals to sick wards.
  • Basic gate cover, escorting deliveries and cleaning as requested.
  • Cover data entry clerks in emergency situations as requested.
  • Ensure all visitors are always welcomed and managed in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Comply with all company rules, regs and policies at all times.
  • Any other reasonable task within capability.
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Computer literacy preferred, particularly Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Excellent written and oral fluency of English.
  • Basic Cleaning and Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Previous experience is desirable however full training will be provided.
