Job summary

Co-op Digital is seeking a Range Optimisation Manager to own and embed our range optimisation approach. You’ll lead the Range Optimisation team, translate category strategies into optimised store assortments, and work with customer and commercial teams in a hybrid Manchester-based role.

The position is a 12-month fixed term contract with a salary of £60,000 to £70,000 plus benefits, and a policy to work from home part of the week; you’ll come into the Manchester office at least once a week.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience driving range optimisation initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of assortment planning, range review processes and category management.

Responsibilities

• Own our range guardrails and store clustering strategy, ensuring delivery through range reviews.
• Drive the embedding of our range optimisation approach, principles and guardrails.
• Lead, coach and develop the Range Optimisation team to deliver against strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with customer and commercial teams to translate category strategies into optimised range assortments.
• Support and input into projects, tests and trials to improve ranges.
• Use data and insights to optimise tools and systems to place the right ranges in the right stores.
• Be commercially driven to benefit the business, customers and member owners.
