Job summary

Co-op is recruiting a proactive Range and Space Transformation Analyst to help modernise tools and processes for planning and managing ranges and space across the business. You will work on a major transformation, moving from on-premise to scalable platforms and ensuring new systems are designed, tested and embedded.

You will collaborate across Range, Space, Technology and Change teams to deliver data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across multiple teams.
  • Experience supporting system implementations or business change projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of range and space transformation projects by implementing new tools and processes.
  • Analyse data, workflows and user requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Change and SRM teams to shape practical solutions.
  • Support testing, validation and issue resolution to ensure new functionality.
  • Maintain data quality across range and space systems.
  • Produce reports and insights to support programme delivery and performance.
  • Assist with user training, communications and process documentation.
  • Monitor system performance and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Build relationships across the business as a transformation contact.
  • Support the Transformation Lead in delivering programme milestones.
  • Experience with retail, category management or space planning systems.
  • Learn quickly, solve problems collaboratively and adapt to change.

Job description

We're looking for a proactive Range and Space Transformation Analyst to join our team and help us modernise the tools and processes that support how we plan and manage ranges and space across Co-op. You'll play a key role in a major transformation programme, helping us move from our current on-premise solutions to more scalable, future-ready platforms that can support our growing business. Working closely with colleagues across Range, Space, Technology and Change, you'll help make sure new systems and processes are designed, tested and embedded successfully. Why this role matters The tools and systems we use to manage space, range and merchandising have a direct impact on how effectively we serve our customers and member-owners. As we invest in new capabilities, you'll help make sure we have the right data, processes and technology in place to support better decision making and deliver a more efficient way of working. Your insights and analytical approach will help us get the most from our new solutions and create a strong foundation for the future. What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of range and space transformation project, helping to implement new tools, systems and processes
  • Analyse data, workflows and user requirements to identify opportunities for improvement and support business decisions
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Technology, Change and SRM teams to help shape practical, user-focused solutions
  • Support system testing, validation activities and issue resolution to ensure new functionality is fit for purpose
  • Help maintain data quality and consistency across range and space systems
  • Produce clear reports, insights and recommendations to support programme delivery and ongoing performance
  • Assist with change activities, including the development and delivery of user training, communications and process documentation
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback, helping to identify enhancements and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted point of contact for transformation activity
  • Support the Range and Space Transformation Lead in delivering key programme milestones and objectives
  • Experience working with retail, category management, merchandising or space planning systems
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn findings into actionable insights
  • Experience supporting system implementations, business change projects or process improvement initiatives
  • Good understanding of retail operations and the role range and space planning plays in delivering commercial performance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across different teams
  • The ability to learn quickly, solve problems collaboratively and adapt in a changing environment
