Job summary

Experis Austria is recruiting an experienced Network Engineering Specialist to optimise ESN RAN performance in the UK. The role focuses on analysing UE logs, Wireshark traces and end-to-end troubleshooting across 4G LTE for mission-critical public safety networks.

Based in London or Bristol (Hybrid), you will work with cross-functional teams to identify issues, drive improvements and support ESN performance strategies for critical communications infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mobile telecoms as RAN performance/optimisation SME.
• Strong expertise in UE log analysis, Wireshark tracing, and end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of 4G LTE networks and radio performance optimisation for public safety.
• Proven experience analysing drive test logs, protocol traces and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse UE logs, network traces and protocol captures to identify performance issues.
• Troubleshoot LTE networks end-to-end including SIP, PTT, SRTP and DTLS.
• Analyse drive test logs and traces to determine root causes of defects.
• Investigate issues affecting ESN performance and customer experience.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery and vendor teams to implement corrective actions.
• Support development of performance optimisation strategies and network improvements.
• Provide technical leadership on ESN performance issues.
