Experis Austria is partnering with a leading telecommunications organisation in London or Bristol (Hybrid) to recruit an experienced ESN Specialist - RAN. The role focuses on optimisation and performance of the Emergency Services Network (ESN) for mission-critical communications.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a RAN Performance or Optimisation SME in mobile networks.
• Proven UE log analysis and Wireshark tracing expertise.
• Strong knowledge of 4G LTE networks and public safety communications.
• Experience analysing drive test logs and KPIs.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of UE logs, network traces and protocol captures to identify performance issues and service degradation.
• Conduct end-to-end troubleshooting across LTE networks, including SIP signalling, Push-to-Talk (PTT), SRTP and DTLS services.
• Analyse drive test logs and network protocol traces to determine root cause of defects and underperforming KPIs.
• Investigate systematic issues affecting ESN performance and customer experience.
• Utilise data from multiple sources including UE events, logs, drive testing, traces and OSS performance data.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, delivery and vendor teams to define and implement corrective actions.
• Support the development of performance optimisation strategies, best practices and network improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and SME for ESN-related performance issues.
