Job summary

Experis IT is partnering with a major UK telecommunications organisation to recruit an ESN Specialist - RAN. The role focuses on optimisation and performance of the Emergency Services Network across 4G/LTE, working in a hybrid model in London or Bristol.

You will identify performance issues, conduct deep technical investigations, and drive improvements while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver robust network performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile telecoms with focus on RAN performance or optimization.
• Strong ability to analyse UE logs, perform Wireshark tracing and troubleshoot end-to-end networks.
• Solid understanding of 4G LTE networks, radio performance optimisation and public safety comms.

Responsibilities

• Analyse UE logs, network traces and protocol captures to identify performance issues and degradation.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end LTE networks including SIP, PTT, SRTP and DTLS services.
• Analyse drive test logs and protocol traces to locate root causes of KPI underperformance.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery and vendor teams to implement corrective actions.
• Support development of performance optimisation strategies and best practices.
