Job summary

Experis Austria is seeking an ESN Specialist - RAN for London or Bristol (Hybrid). The role focuses on optimising the Emergency Services Network performance through expert RAN analysis, UE logs, and end-to-end troubleshooting of LTE networks.

Key responsibilities include analysing UE logs, drive test data, and network traces; coordinating with vendors and internal teams to implement optimisations; and providing technical leadership on ESN performance issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mobile telecommunications as a RAN Performance or Optimisation SME.
• Strong UE log analysis and Wireshark tracing skills with end-to-end troubleshooting.
• 3) Deep understanding of 4G LTE, radio performance optimisation, and public safety communications.
• 4) Proven experience analysing drive test logs, protocol traces and KPIs.
• 5) Knowledge of LTE signalling, SIP, PTT, SRTP/DTLS, LTE timers.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed UE log and network trace analysis to identify performance issues.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end across LTE networks including SIP, PTT, SRTP/DTLS.
• Analyze drive test logs and traces to root-cause defects and KPI gaps.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery and vendor teams to implement corrective actions.
• Support performance optimisation strategies and best practices.
