Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a RAMS Engineer in Pitstone to provide expertise in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) across aircraft systems. This role facilitates compliance with airworthiness regulations while working closely with engineering teams to develop reliable systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Aerospace or related fields, experience in RAMS/Safety Engineering, and strong problem-solving skills. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing flexibility while contributing to significant engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in RAMS, Safety Engineering or Reliability Engineering within aerospace or a safety-critical industry.
• Strong experience performing system safety and reliability analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, reliability prediction).
• Experience supporting airworthiness certification and regulatory compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver RAMS activities across allocated programmes and projects.
• Provide technical guidance on safety, reliability, maintainability and testability.
• Influence system and product design through safety and reliability recommendations.
