Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience in reliability engineering, safety analysis, or systems assurance within aerospace, defence, or a highly regulated safety-critical industry.
• Strong working knowledge of FMECA, reliability prediction standards, and fault tree analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication – produce clear, concise reports and present findings to technical & non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability predictions, calculations, and analyses across product lifecycle stages.
• Perform FMECA to identify and mitigate design risks.
• Develop and manage Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Programme Plans and Safety Cases.
• Analyze test results and field failure data to drive design improvements.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware teams to ensure compliance with defence standards.
• Participate in internal and external project reliability reviews and panels.
