Optime Group is seeking an experienced Ramp Colleague to join the team at Luton Airport for the upcoming winter season. This is a full-time role with overtime opportunities and a 30-hour week, featuring rotating shifts from 05:00 to 00:00. Start date is 23 November 2026, with comprehensive training provided and weekly pay.

You must hold a full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points) to apply. The position is on-site, requiring fitness to lift up to 30 kg and strong teamwork with ground

Formación

• Full UK manual driving licence (mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Five-year fully checkable reference history.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (CRC).

Responsabilidades

• Process customers’ luggage, ensuring it is loaded onto aircraft correctly for departure and unloaded on arrival.
• Assist with weight and balance distribution and operate baggage handling equipment.
• Work airside and within the baggage unit (Undercroft).
• Lift and move luggage up to 30 kg regularly.
• Support aircraft turnaround during downtime between arrivals and departures.
• Operate vehicles and machinery such as mobile stairs, belt loaders, buggies and tug vehicles.
• Adapt to adverse weather to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with ramp colleagues, ground handling staff and airline personnel.
• Full training provided: duration 2 weeks 1 day excluding weekends.
• Full PPE provided.
