SE Trains Limited is seeking an SE3 engineer to deliver primary defect repair and in-service maintenance for rolling stock, reporting to SE5 within a fixed team. You will liaise with external stakeholders to ensure repairs meet required standards and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have electrical engineering expertise, NVQ 3 or equivalent, IT/data interpretation skills, and the ability to read schematics. A full driving licence and medical fitness are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 in engineering maintenance (electrical or mechanical) or equivalent
• Technical Certificate in Engineering (BTEC) required
• Ability to interpret data and basic IT skills
• Able to perform first level fault finding using schematics
• Must be physically fit and pass medical

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise for primary defect repair including in-service units
• Carry out exams, defect rectification, modifications and time-based maintenance packages
• Report to SE5 within a fixed team structure
• Liaise with external stakeholders for in-service defect repair
• Ensure work meets production and operational deadlines
