South Eastern Railway is seeking a Service Engineer to join the Engineering team at Slade Green Depot. You will carry out routine repairs, inspection work, and first level fault finding while supporting the newest fleet SE offers.

A full UK driving licence and ability to read schematics are essential to succeed in this role. You will work 35 hours per week with shift patterns including weekends and enjoy benefits such as free rail travel, a final salary pension, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical / electrical work.
• Practical Aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow schematics and diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of IT systems and computer skills.
• Possess a full Drivers Licence.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine repairs, examination work and first level fault finding as directed by the Team Leader.
• Work on the latest fleet of SE trains and support safe operation.
• Contribute to safety and quality through diligent, methodical workmanship.
