Job summary

Teamforce Labour are seeking an experienced PTS 360 Excavator Operator for a railway civils project in Northampton.

The role requires safe operation of a 360 excavator, carrying out earthworks and assisting with trackside civil engineering. You must hold CPCS or NPORS 360 certification and PTS, with a solid health and safety background and ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

Valid CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator certification.
Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety).
Experience on railway infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Relevant lifting operations endorsement where required.

Responsibilities

Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently on a railway civils project.
Carry out excavation, trenching, drainage and general earthworks.
Assist with trackside civil engineering and infrastructure works.
Work safely around existing underground services and railway infrastructure.
Conduct daily plant inspections and report any defects.
Work closely with site supervisors, engineers and groundworkers.
Ensure all works comply with Network Rail safety standards and site-specific procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
