Interlinx Consulting Ltd is seeking a hands-on Telecoms Project Engineer with SISS railway background to join a leading principal contractor. The role involves nationwide travel and stays away from home, supporting SISS telecoms across National Grid and London Underground projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong hands-on engineering background and clear pathways into project management and senior leadership. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• SISS rail experience, ideally across CCTV, PA, PHP, CIS and access control systems.
• A strong hands-on engineering background with ambitions to progress into project engineering and management.
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home during the working week.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of SISS telecoms works across National Grid and London Underground projects.
• Work with CCTV, PA, PHP, CIS, and access control systems.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, materials, and project programmes.
• Ensure works are delivered safely on time and to the required specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
