Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Manager to lead systems engineering, integration, and safety assurance across major rail programmes. You will manage a team of engineers and specialists, set best practices, and ensure safe, integrated solutions while growing Egis' capabilities in the UK and internationally.

The role demands strong leadership, deep rail domain knowledge, and the ability to coordinate interfaces across signalling, rolling stock, power and stations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Railway or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in Systems Engineering, Integration and Safety Assurance in rail.
  • Experience leading engineering teams in consultancy, contractor or client context.
  • Strong understanding of railway systems and multidisciplinary integration.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety cases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Systems Engineers, Systems Integration Engineers and Safety Assurance specialists.
  • Develop and implement systems integration strategies across rail projects.
  • Manage complex interfaces between signalling, rolling stock, power and telecoms.
  • Deliver safety assurance plans, hazard management and compliance activities.
  • Provide trusted technical advice and support business development.
