Job summary

Arcadis is seeking Rail Systems Engineers for roles in Birmingham, UK. You will contribute to major rail programmes such as HS2 and TRU, delivering complexity across signalling, telecoms, traction power and systems integration.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and clients to meet safety, reliability and performance goals. You will be involved in lifecycle delivery, interface management, and assurance activities, helping create sustainable rail solutions and lasting value for

Qualifications

Experience in rail systems engineering or related rail discipline.
Knowledge of rail systems areas such as signalling, telecoms, E&P, traction power, SCADA or control systems.

Responsibilities

Contribute to delivery of rail systems design, integration, assurance and engineering activities across major rail programmes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors and stakeholders to deliver integrated rail systems solutions.
Support development, coordination and verification of systems engineering requirements throughout project lifecycles.
Apply systems thinking to solve complex technical and operational challenges.
Support safety, reliability, performance and operational readiness objectives.
Participate in systems integration, interface management and assurance activities.
Support development of innovative, sustainable engineering solutions.
Share technical knowledge and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
