Job summary

British Engineering Services Group, via its XEIAD division, is seeking a Structures Examiner to inspect and survey rail infrastructure across the UK. You will contribute to safe, compliant asset management by delivering structural inspections and generating reports.

Key requirements include proven Structures Examiner experience, knowledge of Rail Inspection Regulations, STE4 level competence, and willingness to travel nationwide. A UK driving license and IRATA qualification are desirable.

• Experience as Structures Examiner.
• Knowledge of Rail Inspection Regulations.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Able to work at height and in confined spaces.
• IRATA qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural inspections and surveys on rail infrastructure across the UK.
• Prepare inspection reports, including CAD drawings.
• Lead the safe delivery of inspections and investigations.
• Coordinate with landowners, agents or contractors during pre-site visits.
