Job summary

TEAM in Norwich is seeking a Site Engineer to lead setting out and on-site civil works on a major rail infrastructure project. You will ensure drawings and specifications are followed, maintain QA records, and support site management with materials and progress reporting.

Rail experience and the ability to use EDM and GPS for setting out are essential; sponsorship can be provided if you don\'t hold a PTS, and accommodation is included with overtime options.

Qualifications

• Reading drawings and understanding project specifications.
• QA documentation and RFIs/ITPs handling.
• Ability to read and quantify materials from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out using EDM and GPS equipment.
• Complete QA documentation, RFIs and ITPs correctly and maintain project records.
• Read construction drawings, quantify materials and ensure works follow approved information.
• Support site management with materials, KPIs, progress reporting and distribution of project information.
• Maintain an accurate daily site diary of progress and activities.
• Identify site issues early and support practical solutions to keep works progressing.
